My sanctuary is my quiet place at our beachfront property. We have native trees and bush, vegetable gardens and expansive lawns. Did I mention the stream meandering through the grounds? We have enough size to have a healthy distance from our one close neighbour although he does have rather a loud voice when pacing around with his mobile phone.
No worries – I retreat to my quiet place alongside the fern-edged stream, listening to the native birds twittering in the trees and the gentle breeze rustling through the leaves. I love listening to the soothing sounds of the babbling waters of the stream as it meanders its way to the beach.

Its a sizeable sanctuary for sure.
