She carefully outlined her lips with the pencil. Selecting her favorite lipstick she painted the scented, glossy colour between the lines.
‘I mustn’t blur outside the lines,’ she thought. “It has to be perfect this time”
She smacked her lips together, looked again in the mirror and smiled. That will do perfectly. Pursing her lips, she softly kissed her reflection. At last she had created a perfect strawberry kiss.
She gently pressed the card against the mirror to transfer the image. It looked sweet and delicious – “strawberry sweet just like me’, she smiled.
She sealed the envelope with another strawberry kiss then slipped it under his front door.
Valentine’s Day was the only day she was brave enough to send him strawberry kisses.
