2:Life in colour -2021 Part 2 – Yellows to make me mellow

Mellow Yellows found during my travels –

The yellow umbrella to guide the walking tour in Prague – guide will help you stay mellow whilst sightseeing – well maybe not lost anyway.

The children’s playground at the departure lounge in Gothenburg so the travelling kids can burn off some energy before the long haul flight.

Back in NZ  – and the yellow sunlit hills framed by the foliage welcomed us home.

Now it is time to explore our own backyard. Our old camping haunts -the golden sands of Totaranui in the Abel Tasman National Park.

  1. That’s a very beautiful place, where you live! šŸ™‚ šŸ™‚ The guides with umbrellas always make me smile. Many years ago, in Venice, the young lady handed her pink umbrella to my husband and asked him to carry it aloft. He did, of course!

    1. Thank you. I do chuckle when I see the umbrellas and it did take me a while to figure out what they were for when we first travelled to tourist hotspots. Good that your husband was able to lift it high.

    1. Thanks Marsha. Yes we must be the same age. I loved that little Brownie Starlet. I have entered the Lens-Artist Photo challenge once. Will get back to it but only sharing archived photos at the moment whilst recovering from shoulder surgery. Sigh… only another 5 weeks in a sling. Iā€™m not sure where my love of photography came from but it has been life-changing especially since I seriously got back into it a few years ago. I enjoyed your background story too. Thanks for sharing.

      1. I hope your shoulder is better soon. My husband suffered with a pulled muscle or something in his shoulder for about two years. Eventually it got better, but he’s still careful. I look forward to seeing more of your beautiful pictures. You have quite a talent. šŸ™‚

      2. Thank you so much. The surgery was only 3 weeks ago so it will apparently take another 4-5 weeks to heal. It is getting better each day. I’m looking forward to picking up my camera again. In the meantime I am enjoying revisiting my many archives.

      3. You will heal fast. I’ve had several friends who went through it. It’s a pain wearing the harness, though! šŸ™‚ This is a great time to use and revive the archive file. šŸ™‚ I’m working on mine after the two posts Lisa and I did on organizing our photos. šŸ™‚
