I never wanted to say goodbye. I just wanted a cheerful ‘see you later’ as you walked out the door. It seems you had always wanted more than I was able to share. Let’s never say goodbye. Farewells are not always fond. They can be heartbreaking and devastating yet somehow they can be a relief. Let’s never say goodbye. It is far better to stay in a less than perfect relationship- or is it? Staying together brings problems too. Working it out needs compromise Let’s never say goodbye. Saying goodbye is so final.
